Cancellation policy

At CutieBirdy Canada, we offer two ways to purchase: Direct Purchase and Pre-Order. This policy explains both options and, in particular, how pre-orders work and how to manage or cancel them.
🛒 Purchase Options
Direct Purchase: For in-stock items, you pay in full at checkout and your order ships right away under our standard fulfillment timelines. Cancellations, returns, and refunds for direct purchases are governed by our standard Refund Policy, not this pre-order policy.
Pre-Order: For select items not yet in stock, you may reserve a unit in advance. A product will only offer one purchase option at checkout — a single order cannot combine a direct purchase and a pre-order. Pre-order terms are set out below.
🛍️ Pre-Orders
Pre-orders allow you to reserve a product before it arrives in stock.
Payment: Depending on the offer, you may be charged in full at checkout or a partial deposit (typically 50%) with the remaining balance collected closer to shipment.
Cancellations: You may cancel your pre-order at any time before your order has been fulfilled. To request a cancellation, email us at info@cutiebirdy.ca with your order number.
Change-of-mind cancellation fee: If you cancel your pre-order for a reason other than a change on our part (e.g. simply changing your mind), a fee equal to 20% of the total amount paid will be deducted from your refund. This fee does not apply to cancellations resulting from significant delays, changes to the order caused by us, or other circumstances outside your control.
Refunds on cancellation: Any deposit or full payment collected will be refunded to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, less any applicable change-of-mind cancellation fee described above.
Once fulfilled: Once your pre-order has shipped, our standard Refund Policy applies.
Estimated ship dates: Shipping timelines are estimates and may change due to supply or logistics delays. We will notify you of any significant changes.
